Humans and Cylon allies finally go back to Kobol. You know, the nice green planet with things to eat and about only thing that hasn’t been irradiated or obliterated in the last 2000 years. I’m guessing there will be an epic, bloody showdown with Cavil ‘n’ Co., fulfilling part of the prophicies (…any return to Kobol… bloodshed… yada yada…)

Roslin kicks the bucket by the end of the series.

Or maybe it represented the Galactica being used to smash into the Colony in some kind of military tactical maneuver that would help it go out “in style”. If this happens I have a feeling that Sam’s going to be the only left on the ship, and he’s going to help control it.

Everyone will get over the (awesome) cylons being different…I mean, they have to, if they ever want HDTV – err – a working battlestar. But not before the fleet bombed the heck out of the cylons base (Ahem, nuclear weapons? They did those). And yet later on, friends. Following this model, the cylons would be demilitarized. The ones who are left seem to be ok with choosing to be nice. I mean, the nice ones, like me.

Athena is a wreck.

Kidnapping has got to be so much worse in space. At least on earth you know with some certainty that your kid is out there somewhere. In space, that somewhere gets infinitely bigger. Deep down, I think she knows that, even though Boomer is horrible to her and ruins everything, that Boomer will have Hera’s best interests in mind. But that won’t stop her from trying to kill her when they come face to face in a battle of the Eights (I think only Boomer OR Athena will survive to the end). She’ll make up with her hot husband, get back cute kid, and live happily ever after. If she lives, that is.

Boomer is a wreck. She totally has a soul, buried somewhere deep inside, and Hera knows.

Boomer will take a card from Starbuck and go try to kick some Cavil ass. He’ll do something that seems kind of horrible to Hera (on account of he has no soul), and she’ll tune in to her inner eight-ness and actually do something about it. I don’t think she’ll out-and-out succeed, and I do think Athena will kick her butt, but she will try. It won’t stop us from hating her, though.

But when she bites the dust, with anyone speak for her?

And at the end of it all (like, the very tale end), we’ll make it to somewhere and Roslin (or her proxy/successor) will plant that little plant wherever it is we (all) end up (together). It’ll be a metaphor then, like how it’s a metaphor now.
