I command the Battlestar Galactica and am responsible for the safety of it and the civilian fleet. I am often at odds with the civilian leader, President Laura Roslyn; however, I respect her and value her presence and counsel, and I kissed her once. I love my son, Lee, and the rest of my crew, but do not hesitate to make tough calls that they may not like. I don't pay much attention to second-guessing from those who haven't been in a position of authority. I don't show much emotion but I have a heart of fraking gold.
