Ladies and gentlemen, friends and neighbors, civvies and non-wusses, the time has come for the final question of the Vice Presidential Debates. As you know, we are coming to the close of a hard-fought campaign that has included bare-knuckled smear tactics, questionable polling methods and even a brazen attempt by the sitting president to inject her own candidate Col. Candidates, as you know, you will each be given a chance to respond to this question, and then to give a final, closing statement to the Fleet. You are also free to inject sighs, scoffs, hiccups, and non-lethal gunfire into your opponents’ answers.

How, as vice president, would you work to shrink this gap of polarization which has sprung up between these two races, which you each have previously spoken about in these debates?
